A two-hour walking tour of five family-run bodegas in Mott Haven and Port Morris with community organizer Luis Reyes. Learn the history of the Puerto Rican and Dominican-owned corner stores that have served the South Bronx through disinvestment, gentrification, and pandemic closures.

The tour moves at a relaxed pace. No mobility barriers, since all stops are street-level.
Tour fees are split equally among the five participating bodega owners. Luis organizes the tours as a volunteer, and his compensation comes from the owners' association he helped found.
