A two-hour walk through Hunts Point's open-air graffiti and street-art walls with a writer who came up in the Bronx scene. Ray explains the styles, the crews, and how the borough shaped a movement the art world took decades to credit.
Tour fees are shared with the writers whose walls you visit, treating graffiti as the commissioned work it is.What's included
- A writer from the Bronx scene as guide
- A walking map of the walls
- A stop at a legal-wall paint session
Plan
Comfortable shoes and a camera. The route is about two miles.
Photograph the art freely, but ask before photographing the writers themselves.
A share of each ticket goes to the writers whose walls are on the route, and to the legal-wall program that gives Bronx youth a place to paint.

Ray treats graffiti as the art form it is. Hearing the crew histories firsthand changed how I see every wall.

Genuinely informative and the murals are huge. It's a real walk, so come ready to move.
