Hosted by Wei Tang
A three-hour crawl through Flushing's best dumpling counters, from soup dumplings to pan-fried to hand-pulled. Wei grew up eating at these stalls and orders the dishes the menus don't translate.
Navi charges no commission on the tastings, so the full food budget goes to the family-run stalls on the route. What's included
- Tastings at five dumpling stalls
- A local guide who orders off-menu
- A tea to finish
Plan
An appetite and cash. Most stalls don't take cards.
Tell Wei about dietary restrictions ahead of time, since some stops are hard to adapt.
The food portion of your fee is paid directly to the stalls at full menu price. Navi takes no cut of the tastings, only a flat guide fee.

Wei took us places I'd have walked right past. The hand-pulled spot was the best dumpling I've had in the city.

Come hungry, genuinely. Five stops is a lot of food and all of it was excellent.
