Hosted by Theo Marsh
A two-hour walk through the Lower East Side's artist-run galleries and project spaces, the small rooms where artists show each other's work outside the market. Theo runs one himself and gets you in to meet the people behind them.
Tour fees are shared with the artist-run spaces on the route, the kind that operate without commercial backing. What's included
- Entry to five artist-run spaces
- Introductions to the artists who run them
- A zine documenting the scene
Plan
Comfortable shoes. The walk is short but you'll be on your feet.
These are tiny spaces. Move through gently and respect works in progress.
Half of each ticket is split among the spaces visited. The rest funds a small grant Theo's collective gives to a project space each year.

These are rooms you'd never walk into on your own. Theo knows everyone and the conversations were the best part.

A real look at how artists support each other. Small, honest, and far from the gallery machine.
